Meet the Team

Beverly Forrey - CEO

Beverly has over 17 years of experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related disabilities.  She began her career in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2005, providing therapy services to children on the autism spectrum as a Behavior Technician.  In 2010, she earned her Master of Arts in Special Education from Ball State University with certificates in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis.  That same year, Beverly established Hope Behavioral Services, LLC, providing ABA therapy services to clients in their homes.  As the company has grown and expanded, Beverly has never lost sight of her commitment to our clients and their families.

In 2012, while owning and operating Hope Behavioral Services, Beverly also began working as a Behavior Consultant with the Indiana Medicaid Waiver Program.  Throughout her career, Beverly has worked with children and adults in the clinic, home, and community settings.  In addition to overseeing the operations of the ABA therapy clinics, she continues to devote her time to working as a Behavior Consultant.  Beverly’s desire to help individuals and families permeates every aspect of her professional life.

Beverly and her husband, Greg, have two sons, Shawn and Hunter.  When not devoting her time to her clients, Beverly values her time with her family.  She also enjoys traveling and spending time with dear friends when time allows.

Melissa Collins - CFO

Melissa Collins joined our team as a part-time accountant in 2019 and became full-time in 2021.  As Controller, Melissa oversees all financial aspects of the company.  Melissa has an AS in Accounting from International Business College and brings several years of financial experience with her to the Hope team.  She embraces the challenges of helping the company set and achieve its goals and investing her time and experience into the growth and development of HBS.  Melissa values any time she’s able to spend with her family.  When not spending time with her family, she enjoys completing projects, adventures with good friends, and jumping in the car with no agenda.

Sherry Rahl - Director of Community Outreach

Sherry started with HBS in July 2024. She is a lifelong resident in Kokomo/Howard County. She comes with an extensive background, starting with banking and lending for 10 years and insurance for 12 years. Then, Sherry went into the non-profit business for the last 10 years where she has been the executive director of Project Access, started Turning Point System of Care and worked Kokomo Urban Outreach. She has a true heart to help people succeed.

Sherry enjoys her family, camping, floating in the lake and building relationships.

Sherry was brought to HBS to help with outreach in the communities, building relationships, partnering with others, working on special projects and continuing to help us grow and succeed.

Tammy Shane - Director of Human Resources

Tammy joined the team in 2019.  She earned her BS in Business, with majors in Accounting and Business Administration, from IUK and has gained more than 20 years of experience in finance and management in several different areas.  She also managed Finance and Human Resources for a small, family-owned business. Tammy is excited to be a part of a growing company. As the Director of Human Resources, Tammy enjoys working with the administration and team members of Hope Behavioral Services and contributing to the growth of a successful company.

Molly Budd - Client Service Coordinator

Molly began her career as an RBT with Hope Behavioral Services in 2017. Throughout her career, she has gained experience by providing therapy services in both the home and clinic settings. Because of Molly’s commitment to quality service and dedication to both clients and team members, Molly was promoted to office manager/scheduler in 2019. With the growth of HBS, Molly has since been promoted to Executive Assistant in 2022. What Molly enjoys most at HBS is the opportunity to work with the clients and her team members. She sees every day as a new opportunity for growth. In her free time, She enjoys spending time with her family and shopping.

Kim Branyan - Clinical Director of Kokomo, MA, BCBA

Kim, a member of the HBS team since 2018, has over 12 years of experience in the field of ABA. She has been a BCBA in the clinical setting since 2016. She has also provided ABA services in the school setting as a Behavior Intervention Specialist. Kim completed her undergraduate studies in Elementary Education and is a 2015 Ball State University graduate with a Master of Arts degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Certificate in Autism. She chose to become a BCBA to not only help children on the autism spectrum but to help all children and adults who may struggle with behavior. What she loves most about what she does is watching a child learn how to communicate or do something independently for the first time. The joy this brings to the child and the family makes all the hard work worthwhile. Kim was promoted to Clinical Director of Hope Behavioral Services in December of 2024 and endeavors to continue to provide high quality ABA services to children and families in our community. When not working, she loves spending time with her family, traveling and enjoying outdoor activities.

Ellen Thang - Clinical Director of Logansport, MA, BCBA

Ellen has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with Hope Behavioral Services since December 2021.  Ellen graduated from IU Bloomington in 2016 with a BS in Human Development and Family Studies.  She began working as an RBT in 2016 while pursuing her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis at Ball State University. Ellen graduated with her MA in 2018 and became a BCBA in 2019. Ellen enjoys collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals to provide the best services and support for her clients and families. She believes every day is an opportunity to learn something new.  In her free time, Ellen loves to build LEGO sets!  Her biggest builds are Diagon Alley from Harry Potter and the McCallister’s House from Home Alone.

Mary Bewley - MA, BCBA

Mary Bewley began her career with Hope Behavioral Services as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in January 2021.  She earned her BS in Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan in 2015.  While attending college, Mary gained experience working with children in daycare and preschool settings.  She knew that, ultimately, she wanted a career helping children.  Mary went on to earn her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2019, and she received her certification as a Behavior Analyst from the BACB in 2020.  During that time, Mary worked as an RBT in an ABA clinic in Toledo, OH.  Mary’s favorite thing about working in the field of ABA is seeing the progress of her clients.  When she’s not working with children, Mary enjoys being outside in nature and traveling to the mountains to enjoy hiking.  Her favorite recreation is rollerblading.

Lorie Camp - MA, BCBA

Lorie Camp is a BCBA with eight years of experience in working with children diagnosed with autism. Lorie loves working with children and contributing to the daily needs of children and caregivers. Lorie graduated from Indiana University at Kokomo in 2015 with a BS in psychology. After working in the ABA field for a few years as an RBT, she decided to further her education. She graduated from Ball State in 2020 with her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis. Lorie joined the HBS Team on December 12, 2022, to pursue her career in the field of ABA as a BCBA. In her free time, Lorie likes to watch her kids play sports, Cubs baseball and try new recipes.

Judith Elise Beebout - MS Ed., BCBA

Elise has always had a passion for working with children. She chose a career in ABA when she visited our clinic and experienced first-hand the needs of our clients. Elise joined the HBS team as a BCBA Intern in February 2022. She earned her BS in Bible and Children’s Ministries and Preschool and Daycare Administration from Johnson University in 2012 and her MS in Education from Purdue University. While working as an intern, Elise earned her Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis through Purdue Global in January 2023 and then achieved her BCBA certification in June 2023. During her internship, Elise dedicated herself to constantly learning and continuing to improve her ABA skills. As a BCBA, she remains dedicated to using her skills to improve the lives of the clients we serve. In addition to her commitment to her clients, Elise also stays very involved in the service ministries of her church. She also enjoys family time with her husband, five nephews and two nieces and working out with her friends. 

Meagan Sarver - MA, BCBA

Meagan began her career in ABA in 2019 as an RBT.  Once introduced to the field of ABA, Meagan knew this was the career path for her.  She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from IUK in 2021 and her MA in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State in December 2022.  Meagan passed her certification exam and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in March 2023.  Meagan loves watching the children progress through the course of their therapy and loves the success stories she receives from families when talking about how well the clients’ skills are transferring to the home.  In her free time, Meagan enjoys spending time with her family and taking her dogs on walks. 

Amy Langley - Office Manager/Scheduler

Amy joined HBS in 2020 with several years of experience in ABA therapy and working with children with special needs. She entered the ABA field in 2017 and became a certified RBT in 2018. Amy was promoted to Lead Therapist in 2021 due to her knowledge of ABA therapy and her desire to help other RBTs grow in their knowledge and skillsets. Before this career path, Amy had worked as a substitute Instructional Assistant at Logansport Community School Corporation, assisting in the Special Education Department. Her desire to work with children with special needs and seek a rewarding career servicing these children brought her to the field of ABA therapy.  Amy loves to assist our clients with acquiring new skill sets and helping therapists further develop in their roles.

Nicole Gilmore - Director of Waiver Services

I have been working on the Waiver since 1999 as individuals were being transitioned from institutions into the community.

I received my Master’s in 2006 after my third child was born.  Later, I would realize that he had Autism, and I would become a parent of a child receiving services.  In 2023 I accepted a position at the Youth Opportunity Center to assist in the creation of a joint program with the YOC and the Muncie Community Schools.  Our aim was to give students who were behaviorally challenged a place to learn and grow behaviorally to return to their home school.  In January of 2025 I accepted a position with Hope Behavioral Services as the Director of Waiver Services.  I have been tasked with growing our program, mentoring behaviorists and carry a small caseload.  I am excited to impart knowledge from my years of experience to our team as well as provide the best service possible for our individuals we serve.

Eden Hinkle - Office Manager/Scheduler

Eden Hinkle began her career with HBS in August 2021. She earned her RBT in September 2021 and worked as an RBT and then RBT/Float until her promotion to Office Manager/Scheduler in September 2022. Although Eden had no previous background working with children on the autism spectrum, her love for the children and her ability to work well with clients on all levels stands out. When asked what she enjoys most about her career, she is always quick to tell you, “I just love the kids! What I love most is watching them make progress.” Outside of work, Eden enjoys shopping, spending time with her husband and lounging on the couch watching an episode of Grey’s Anatomy with her dog!

Jessica Ulery - RBT Corporate Trainer

Prior to joining the HBS team, Jessica worked with young children of all abilities in the preschool setting.  Her work experience, as well as her personal experience with children on the autism spectrum, sparked her interest in pursuing a career in ABA Therapy.  As an RBT, Jessica’s eagerness to learn and sincere desire to positively impact our clients and their families is evident in her daily interactions with both clients and team members.  Jessica’s passion for and knowledge of the RBT role lends to her natural ability to mentor and guide other RBTs.  Jessica also has a love for music and theatre.  In her spare time, you can find her in the local theatre, helping to direct musical theatre.

Christy Russell - Assistant RBT Corporate Trainer

Christy joined the HBS team as an RBT in 2019.  She came to Hope Behavioral Services with 5 years of experience as a paraprofessional in the Pioneer Regional School Corporation.   One of the things Christy enjoys most about her job is training new RBTs and helping them grow in their knowledge and skill set. She has a passion for the field of ABA Therapy and the clients we serve.  Two things that Christy enjoys most about her job are watching a child acquire a new skill and listening to the parents’ success stories from home.  Christy enjoys her time at home with her family, walking her dog, Alice, or simply sipping a cup of coffee.

Sam Gunther - Lead Therapist

Sam began his career with HBS on August 9, 2021, as an RBT.  Prior to joining the team, Sam gained extensive leadership experience as well as experience working with children through the Boy Scouts of America, where he earned his Eagle Scout.  During his time with HBS, Sam has dedicated himself to learning and improving his ABA skills.  He was promoted to Lead Therapist in May 2023 due to his leadership and ABA abilities.  As a Lead Therapist, Sam is committed to supporting the team and assisting them as they continue to improve their skills.  He also loves to watch the changes and growth in the clients and says, “It’s all about the kids.”   

Kacey McWherter - Lead Therapist

Kacey joined the HBS team in June of 2023. Kacey has a bachelor's degree in special education and general education K-6 from Vincennes University. Prior to coming to HBS, Kacey has worked two years in special education working with a variety of students with special needs. Kacey's has had a passion for children her whole life and is motivated by a desire to make a positive impact on student's lives. Kacey's favorite part about working at HBS is the amazing impact we make on children's lives every day. Outside of work, Kacey enjoys spending time with her husband and 5 animals, reading, camping, and disc golf. 

Daniel Williams - Lead Therapist

Daniel began his career as an RBT with Hope Behavioral Services in May of 2023. He has always had a desire to teach in any capacity made available to him. Daniel loves to watch the kids and therapists of Hope flourish. He quickly fell in love with ABA Therapy and the vision of HBS after being a part of positively impacting the kids’ growth. Daniel says his favorite part of working for Hope is the sense of purpose he feels here. He believes playing a role in teaching a child how to connect with the world is a major privilege!

As a Lead Therapist, Daniel is committed to working alongside the team. He loves helping them to see the value of their work and encouraging them to do the difficult work today to make our kiddos’ lives better and more enriching for tomorrow and the rest of their lives! 

Before joining HBS, Daniel had plenty of experience with kids. From constantly being around children as a child, to raising his own family now as an adult. He and his wife have four children, the youngest two being a set of twins. Daniel plans on pursuing a career in ABA with sights on becoming a BCBA. In his downtime, you can find Daniel with his family or serving at his church.

Tiffany DeWitt - Group Coordinator

Tiffany started with HBS in October of 2022 and became group coordinator in March of 2024. Prior to working at HBS, she was a childcare provider, preschool teacher and front office receptionist. She absolutely loves working with children and watching them grow. It’s ultimately what helped her decide if she wanted to stay working in health care or return to working with children. Ultimately, it was a no-brainer. Working with children is where Tiffany wanted to be.  

Tiffany married her husband Cody in September 2020 and has been with him since 2013. They have the sweetest little boy named Judson and two cats named Pearl and Winifred.

In their spare time, they love to go on family adventures to the zoo, the Children's Museum and different parks.    

AJ Pena - Peer Support

AJ first came to HBS as a client several years ago.  He officially joined the team as a Peer Mentor in 2020.  AJ is currently attending college, majoring in Advanced Automation in Robotics and Technology.  He aspires to become a police officer so he can help and protect others.  As a peer mentor, AJ spends time with clients, helping them to develop their social skills.  AJ loves his job at HBS, and our clients love him!

Haley Elliot - MA, BCBA

Haley began her career in ABA as an RBT in 2018 and joined Hope Behavioral Services as a Lead Therapist in 2020 while working on her Bachelors in Psychology with a focus in ABA. Haley graduated in 2022 with a BS in Psychology in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue Global. In April of 2023, she passed her BCaBA exam. Haley continued working at Hope Behavioral Services as a BCaBA while working on her Masters. In 2024, Haley graduated from Ball State with a Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis and passed her BCBA exam in March of 2024. She says that the most rewarding part of this job is watching clients grow and succeed with the help of ABA! When Haley isn’t in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Dr. Judey Budenz - Ph.D., HSPP

Dr. Judey Budenz, Ph.D., HSPP, is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Judey consults with HBS to complete diagnostic assessments.

Madelyn Schumacher - Group Coordinator

Madelyn began working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in July 2019 and joined Hope Behavioral Services in June 2024. With a passion for positively impacting the lives of the clients we serve and collaborating with Registered Behavior Technicians, Madelyn has extensive experience in training and mentoring professionals in the field. Dedicated and compassionate, Madelyn is committed to fostering growth and positive outcomes for our clients and the team members who support them. Outside of work, Madelyn enjoys spending quality time with her son and sister, as well as relaxing through yoga and creative coloring.

Spencer Doty

Spencer started his career in ABA by providing in-home services as an RBT in 2020. 2 years later he received his Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. Spencer is passionate about functional communication training and helping others have a voice. Spencer Joined the HBS team in 2025 to continue growth as a clinician while serving the community of Logansport. In his free time, Spencer enjoys camping and playing basketball with his children as well as learning how to homestead.
